Booth Hall Infirmary Manchester Gold Medal group,Madge Gibson
A group of badges awarded to the same nurse, for her dual training during the 1920s. Madge Gibson did her Registered Sick Childrens Nurse training from 1922-25,at the Booth Hall Infirmary Manchester.being registered as RSCN 1080 on 19.3.26. She received the gold medal for being top of her set and this is boxed in its original velvet lined case.It shows the crest the hospital in 9ct gold.In excellent condition with pin and clasp good and safety chain in situ.Engraved for Madge Gibson,it bears hallmarks for FS 375(9ct)Birmingham 1926.Height 27mm
This is accompanied by a white metal and enamel badge for the Salford Royal Hospital.In good condition with pin and clasp good.Engraved for Madge Gibson 1930.She is shown on the GNC register as having trained as an SRN at Salford Royal from 1926-28 being SRN 49555 22.6.28.Height 29mm
A silver and enamel General Nursing Council badge with both qualifications recorded is included.Very good condition with pin clasp and safety chain in situ.
