“The Nurse” bronze plaque.

An interesting large and very heavy cast metal plaque mounted on a wooden board. It depicts the profile of a nurse wearing a veil and uniform,probably around thre period of the First World War. Simply titled The Nurse it has no other information other than what is pictured.There is a contemporary label from the Art Framers near the British Museum but it looks as though the label which may have given information is missing?
Size of the mount is 39cm by 29cm
