A silver nurses badge from the Liverpool Royal Southern Hospital.This pattern of the shield shaped badge was in use from the early part of the 20th century until the hospitals closure in the 1970s .This particular badge dates to the 1940s,being hallmarked for B&D London and year letter for 1946
It is engraved to the rear for K R Baldwin June 1943-47
height 36mm Condition is good with moderate wear, pin and clasp intact, but loose
