These are a silver Voluntary Medal Services Medal awarded by the British Red Cross Society for 15 years of service, this also having one bar for an additional 5 years.The face features a stylised Florence Nightingale with lamp.The reverse bears a Geneva cross and a St Andrews Cross with the wording ,for Long and Efficient Service.Named to the rim for Miss Rosemary C Evans. Good condition with original ribbon and hanger.
The next is a chrome and enamel General Nursing Council for England and Wales badge.This is named to RC Evans SRN 238216 1.8.56 ( the register shows this to be Rosemary Constance Evans who trained at the Lister Hospital Hitchin)
The next item is a silver and enamel pendant badge for the Lister Hospital Hitchin. The medal has the coat of arms of the Lister family above the motto Fides Sales Pietas-Loyalty Health Duty. Named for RC Evans SRN 1.8.56
Then we have a base metal silver plated badge for State Certified Midwifery training. This is named for RC Evans 150506 30.9.589 she is shown at the City of London Maternity Hospital,Hanley Road N4
Lastly is a silver and enamel members dress badge for the Royal College of Nursing.This is numbered 91633
