A Silver and enamel badge from the 1960s for the Ipswich & District Enrolled Nurse Training School.The shield shaped badge has a design which features a number of emblems of the component hospitals covered by the school including the three crowns of St Audrey's Hospital.This is over the motto MISERICORDIA-Latin for Mercy.Some wear to the edges of the enamel with moderate surface scratches but generally condition is good.Pin ,clasp and safety roller catch all good.Named for Elsie Joan Gibson Finsbury 2.2.1961-10.1.1962.Silver hallmarks for Thomas Fattorini 1961.Height 34mm
