The Middlesex Hospital,Silver Sister's Long service badge

A Silver pendant badge for the Middlesex Hospital,now sadly closed down.I understand that this was awarded for 5 years service as a Sister.The design portrays the hospital itself above a laurel wreathe imposed upon a cross.This is suspended from an art deco styled suspension bar.In good overall condition but with some wear to the plated finish, pin and safety catch good .Marked to the rear Joyce A Belding(this is Joyce Aylward Belding who qualified from the London Hospital in 1947,so the badge probably dates to the 1950s) marked for Silver .A scarce and collectable item.Height 50mm
