A chrome and enamel nurses badge for St Pauls Hospital Winchester.Originally the Workhouse Infirmary for Winchester ,it was renamed St Pauls Hospital the 1930s .It was predominantly used as an elderly care unit prior to its closure in the late 1990s
The eight sided badge features a central motif of a Hampshire Rose within a green band on which St Pauls Hospital Winchester appears on a green background.It good overall condition with pin clasp and safety roller catch all good. Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Ltd,Regent Street Birmingham
