The Sheffield School of Nursing,Silver nurses pendant badge

A silver and enamel nurses badge from the Sheffield School of Nursing.The pendant badge consists of an enamelled pin back bar brooch with the title Sheffield School of Nursing on a blue background.Pin,clasp and safety roller fixing are all good.From this is suspended a medal with a red enamelled geneva cross within a rose(of Yorkshire).To the centre of this is a shield with the arms of Sheffield of the crossed arrows above three wheat sheaves.Very good condition.Markers mark to the rear for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham.Named for Josephine N Corley. Silver hallmarks for TF Birmingham 1976.Height 49mm
