Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast,Porcelain Staff nurse Figurine

One of a pair of Porcelain Nurse figurines that were commissioned for the Nurses League of the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast.This one features the Staff Nurse in her Blue uniform with white starched Apron and veil.On the apron to the right breast she wears the badge of the RVH School of Nursing.She has one hand on a hospital bed locker on which is a water jug towel and book/bible.It stands on an oval plinth.The whole figure stands approximately 9 inches tall.To the base it is marked for Francesca Fine Bone China,"Staff Nurse" Commissioned by League of Nurses, Hoggs Model Number 1090.It carries the signature of G Czapski ( I presume the painter?).A rare figure in very good condition with no chips,flaws or blemishes.
