Glasgow Royal Infirmary,Silver "Graham Medal" Nurses Prize 1955

A scarce cased silver presentation medal for the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
The face bears the Thistle & Snake emblem above the motto Auspice Coelo-By the Favour of Heaven which features on the wall of the Infirmary on Castle Street.Diameter 42mm. The rear is engraved Graham Medal 1955 Ann F M Savage.Good overall condition, marked to the rim AF Ster Sil.In its original velvet and silk lined wooden case ,labelled with Edward & Sons ,Jewellers and Silversmiths Glasgow.
