A scarce nurses badge for the Burns & Plastic Surgery Nursing course at St Lawrence Hospital Chepstow. The burns centre was located here as being near to the major steel and coal producing area of South Wales. It closed in 1994 and moved to Morriston Hospital Swansea.
The badge features a depiction of St Lawrence who was martyred on a gridiron!
