British Red Cross Society, Ladies Uniform Hat

One of a number of caps and hats I shall be listing, these first all belonging a nurse and her sister in law from Suffolk during the 1930s and 40s.Phyllis M. Wardell trained at the Norfolk & Norwich hospital in the 1930s and later lived and worked in Lowestoft also being a member of the British Red Cross Society.
Here we have an official issue black felt hat for the British Red Cross Society c.1940s.In good overall condition with no apparent moth damage. With original striped hat band and metal cap badge.Labelled inside, By Appointment Scott & Co Old Bond Street.Name tag for Phyllis M Waller .
