A scarce uniform hat for the Queen's institute of District Nursing as worn in the 1940s and 50s.The broad brim Fedora style hat is in a dark navy/black felt material with Silk hat band with bow. to the front is a bullion wire badge of the VRI of the Queens Nurses.In very good condition with inner liner marked for Egerton Burnetts Ltd Wellington Somerset
