Saint Mary's Private Nursing Association,Silver Nurses Badge.

An interesting badge for what I believe to be ta Private Nurses Association attached to Saint Marys Hospital.Unfortunately I am still not able to confirm which St Mary's ,although likely candidate is Manchester.During the late 19th & early 20th century many of the larger hospitals had a number of visiting nurses who would provide care in the patients own home for a fee. This one be for one such group.
The pendant badge takes the form of the letters S&M in a voided centre suspended from a plain pin back bar brooch. Hallmarks for WB&S (William Batty Manchester) Birmingham 1912.Height 42mm
