a silver and enamel badge for the Chesterfield & North Derbyshire School of Nursing which was based at Chesterfield.
The badge features the coat of Arms of Derbyshire topped by a caduceus with the entwined snakes.It is also flanked by a number of Pomegranate fruits, a symbol of fertility and regeneration.the blue enamel border bears Chesterfield & North Derbyshire royal Hospital .Good condition with pin, clasp and safety Roller catch.The reverse bears hallmarks for JF Birmingham 1957.
