A silver and enamel Nurses badge for the Preston District School of Nursing.The oval badge has three red Roses of Lancashire to the top half above the Lamb and PP taken from the arms of Preston.This represents the lamb of St Wilfred the patron saint of Preston.The PP denotes Princeps Pacis-Prince of Peace.In excellent condition with no enamel damage.Pin clasp and safety roller catch are all good .Engraved Y Geraghty 1981-83 hallmarked for TF (Thomas Fattorini) Birmingham 1982.Height 46mm
