A lovely silver and enamel nurses badge for the Borough Hospital Southampton.Originally the Incorporation (Workhouse) Infirmary at Shirley Warren, it was renamed the Borough Hospital in 1930.This pattern of training school badge featured the central crest of the coat of arms of Southampton.It later changed to the design of the Hampshire rose .excellent condition with only minor wear and surface scratches.Pin and clasp intact .Marked Fenwick AF Birmingham 1932 Height 29mm
