A scarce silver nurses badge for Nevill Hall Hospital in Wales. These badges were first issued on 17.11.1968,and were selected from a competition for the new school.The Red Cross depicts the Hospital ,the daffodil Wales. The horse links with the Nevill Family and is taken from a stone horse on the arch of a stable building on the original estate.The Portcullis is part of the arms of Abergavenny,"the gateway to Wales".The serpent and staff depict Medical practice.In good overall condition
