Mid Glamorgan School of Nursing,Brass nurses badge

A scarce brass metal nurses badge for the Mid Glamorgan School of Nursing.The design has central device of five stars on a blue background edged with a yellow band.I understand this may represent the five hospitals within the group school and the uniform colour of the students.This is topped by an open book of Learning with the lamp of Learning topped by the Welsh dragon The whole is surrounded by a Laurel wreath.
Condition is good with pin clasp and safety Roller catch, although pin is a temporary replacement.Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham.Height 32mm
