A rare enamelled badge for the East Lancashire Foot Hospital,The centre has the three Lions of England,a red rose of Lancashire and the Rod of Asclepius.the latin motto Doctrine Famam Augeat-Learning increases Reputation. Whilst several major cities would have a foot hospital this is the only such badge I have ever seen.Height 45mm.Condition is good with only minor enamel scratches.Makers mark for Fattorini and Sons Bradford House Birmingham.
