Wolverhampton School of Nursing,Silver SRN Nurses badge

A silver and enamel badge from the Wolverhampton School of Nursing issued for Registered Nurse training.The eight pointed cross has a shield bearing the crest of Wolverhampton Hospital Management Committee, granted in 1949, consisting of three wolves heads above a cross of St George.This is surrounded ny the School of Nursing title on a blue band ,denoting SRN training.Very good condition.Named for J M Abnett 1970-1973. Silver hallmarks for TF Birmingham 1964
