One of number of Signed coloured lithographs by the French artist Gaston Hoffmann from the 1950s.His humorous illustrations often poked fun at the professional figures of Medicine and the Law. Each picture is approx 45cm by 32cm on a thick cream paper.All are signed with some being numbered.
This illustration shows a young male doctor examining a naked young lady by putting his ear against her back to listen to her chest.A stern looking older woman looks on a the foot of the bed.
The title L'Ange Gardien translates as The Guardian Angel.
Good overall condition.
