A rare silver gilt prize medal badge for the Royal Buckinghamshire & Associated Hospitals School of Nursing. The design replicates the standard school of Nursing badge with a central Lamp of Learning in a gilt metal finish. The suspension bar which often denotes the training hospital is blank, In excellent condition with pin, clasp and safety roller catch all good. Engraved for Gold Medallist J M English 1962-1965. Hallmarked for TF Birmingham 1964.
