Claybury Hospital, SEN(M) Nursing badge pair

A pair of badges for Mental Nurse Training. Originally built as one of the London County Council Mental Asylums at Woodford Bridge in Essex the Hospital finally closed in 1997.This badge which features the distinctive water tower was issued in the 1970s,(the tower also features in the badges of the West Roding School of Nursing),In good condition with enamel intact.Pin is present and working.Engraved for E M A Goodwin Spring 1974.
