Plymouth Health Authority,silver Nurses Badge

A nice silver and enamel Badge from Plymouth Health Authority for Nurse training in the 80s and 90s.The badge features a yellow cross formed by having 4 shields as the quarters.These shields bear the designs from previous Schools of Nursing that made up the later Amalgamated Training School.Good overall condition but with some surface scratches and minor chip to the enamel. Pin and safety clasp intact, but loose.Engraved to the rear Miss YB Kirk SRN 1982 .Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham,hallmark looks to be 1982.
