St Thomas' Hospital, Nightingale School of Nursing "Silver" Prize medal pital

Another extremely rare prize medal awarded by the Nightingale School of Nursing at St Thomas' Hospital.

Around the rim it is named for Joy McClean. She is shown as having trained from 1944-47 and was awarded the silver medal, although this is of a plated finish rather than Silver. In its original velvet lined, red leather case. John Pinches London to the lining.
