A Silver and enamel Nurses badge from the Halifax General Hospital .Previously named St Luke's Hospital , it's original name prior to 1948.It featured the crest of Halifax with the chequered shield bearing the head of St John the Baptist.The Hospital's title appears on a blue belted band to the edge.Very good condition with enamel,pin and clasp all good.Engraved forEva Goodison 1960 ,silver hallmarks for TJS,Chester 1928.Height 24mm
