Mid Downs Schools of Nursing & Midwifery,Nurses Silver Prize medal

A rare silver prize medal/badge for the Mid Downs School of Nursing & Midwifery,which was based in Crawley.
The pendant badge replicates, in silver, the enamel School of Nursing badge which features a cross with a martlet to each arm of the cross and a lamp of learning to the centre. This is suspended from a pin back bar brooch engraved with For Merit. Condition is excellent with pin and clasp all good.Engraved to the rear Mrs Maureen J Brittain 24.5.82-21.7.85.
