Royal Worcester Figurine,Nursing Sister the London Hospital

A Royal Worcester Figurine from a series of Four featuring Nursing Sisters of English Hospitals. These were modelled by Ruth Van Ruyckevelt in the late 1950s and early 1960s in a limited edition of 500 of each figure. This example is 442/500 of the Nursing Sister from the London Hospital.It features a seated Sister in a chair adorned with the Hospital badge to the rear.It is approximately 6 and a half inches inches tall with plinth and portrays a Sister in light blue uniform with Leg of Mutton Sleeves,complete with Nurses badge and pleated cap with tails,she is holding a book.
It is missing its box but does have its certificate,Condition is very good with no chips, cracks or flaws.The only apparent damage may be that the very tip of there red bookmark has been lost, a seemingly common problem amongst nearly all of the figures I have had.
These figurines are increasingly rare and sought after.
