Rochdale School of Nursing,Silver SEN Nurses Badge

A silver and enamel nurses badge for SEN training at the Rochdale School of Nursing in the 1960s. The central motif shows the red rose of Lancashire on which a rod of Asclepius is imposed. A green enamel band bears Rochdale School of Nursing.
Condition is excellent, with only minor surface wear.Pin and clasp present .Engraved for A C Ashworth 1966.Hallmarked for F&S Birmingham 1963
In its original cardboard presentation box(slightly battered) named to Ada Constance Ashworth.
