St Thomas's Hospital, Nightingale School Post basic training badge.Orthopaedic Nurse Diploma

Another scarce badge from the famous Nightingale School of Nursing.This one is a base metal pendant badge awarded for the Post Basic courses run by the school. The octagonal badge bears the crest of the hospital and is suspended from a small pin back bar brooch which on this version has a coloured bar added to this denoting the relevant training course.This badge has a blue label with OND for Orthopaedic Nurse Diploma .The rear has the monogram NS for Nightingale school and below this is a number which,I believe, also corresponds to the English National Board number of course completed. In this case it is 1114 but I have not been able to identify this.Very Good overall condition but with some surface scratches and minor wear.The pin clasp and safety roller catch are all good.
Once again this is one of a number of similar badges being sold on behalf of a charity
