A rare silver badge for St Mark's Hospital London . St Mark's opened as a specialist hospital for Fistula and other Diseases of the Rectum in 1854 in City Road.
This plain silver badge features the winged Lion of St Mark as featured on the emblem of Venice.Good condition although with some surface scratches.Pin and clasp intact .It is named to the rear Mary Bowden June 5th 1937 to June 1 1939. Silver hallmarks for APFPAP(Pairpoint Brothers) London 1934
