Leybourne Grange School of Nursing,Silver Learning Disability Nurses badge
A silver and enamel Nurses badge for the Leybourne Grange School of Nursing near Maidstone. A Learning Disabilities Hospital opened in 1936, it finally closed in 1996 and has now been converted to a housing development.
The badge takes the form of a five petalled rose ,similar to the form of the GNC badges, with a rearing horse (the Emblem of Kent) to the centre,.
