Royal Worcester Figurine,Nursing Sister University College Hospital

A Royal Worcester Figurine from a series of Four featuring Nursing Sisters of English Hospitals. These were modelled by Ruth Van Ruyckevelt in the late 1950s and early 1960s in a limited edition of 500 of each figure. This example is one of 500 of the Nursing Sister from University College Hospital in London.It stands at approximately 8 and a half inches tall with plinth and portrays a Sister in dark blue uniform with white apron, complete with Belt and buckle,Nurses League badge and pleated cap.She is holding a Clip Board with Observation chart(the recordings are even visible on the chart).Condition is very good with no chips, cracks or flaws.It is with its box and its certificate.
