St George's Hospital Morpeth, Enrolled Nurse (Mental) badge

A base metal and enamel mental Nurses badge from the St.Georges Hospital Morpeth.Originally the Northumberland County Asylum,the hospital closed in 1992.
The shield shaped badge features the initials St G H and a dragon and St George.The green colouring denotes Enrolled Nurse(Mental) .
Very good condition with pin clasp and safety roller catch all good.Named to B.Donnelly 1972.Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham.Height 38mm
