WW2 VAD Medal group and Silver Cigarette case,RNAH Maristow.
A group of Second World War Service and Red Cross Medals along with an engraved cigarette case attributed to a VAD at the Royal Naval Auxiliary Hospital Maristow.
The medals are a ww2 pair of the Defence and War medal, swing mounted, unnamed as issued. these are accompanied by a British Red Cross society Proficiency in Red Cross Nursing(named for 37675 P A Williamson) and BRCS Long service medal for 9 years service (Numbered 50528)
The cigarette case is of hallmarked silver with an engine turned decoration and gilt interior. Monogram for JMB . Measuring approximately 75mm by 80mm and weighing 99 grams. It has an engraved inscription With Many Thanks from VAD's Mess RNAH Maristow June 1944. Silver hallmarks for S& BM Birmingham 1931
