Frenchay Health Authority School of Nursing, Brass and enamel nurses Badge

A Nurses badge from the Frenchay School of Nursing in Bristol, unusually in brass rather than white metal .It features stylised hands clutching a lamp of learning in front of the ship and castle emblems from Bristol's coat of arms.The badge appears to be a mis-strike ,in that it has not been struck centrally with loss of bead edging to lower side. The enamel is is in good condition .Pin and roller clasp fitting intact.Makers Mark Thomas Fattorini,Regent Street Birmingham.Height 34mm
I believe this badge dates to the 1970s and early 80s.
