A scarce Nurses badge from the Darenth Park Hospital,a major Learning Disibilities Hospital site in Dartford Kent,It dates to when it was part of the Darenth & Stone Hospital Group and looks to be from the 1960s.The hospital was one of the first to close under the Care in the Community policy and it finally shut in 1988.This heavy badge features the lamp of Learning on a green enamel background within a wreath of Laurel Leaves.Condition is very good with Pin and clasp intact.Unmarked to rear Height 34mm
