An unusual badge from St Mary's Hospital Paddington, Swedish Institute.
Swedish Massage was the early term for therapeutic massage used in Nursing practice in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It was later integrated into Physiotherapy practice so I believe this badge predates the 1940s
The design features the Madonna and infant of the larger School of Nursing badge , in a gunmetal finish above a bar with Swedish Institution.
Good overall condition with pin, clasp and safety roller catch all good.Unmarked to rear.
