A rare silver Nurses Badge for the Bath & Wessex Children's Orthopaedic Hospital. Founded in 1924 it was later absorbed into the Royal United Hospitals Bath.
The badge features two shields, the first bearing the arms of Bath and the second a blue bird, the emblem of the Hospital. In good overall condition, pin and clasp present but roller catch is broken.Marked Gilmer Bath.Hallmarks for AF Birmingham 1942 Height 28mm
