A brass and enamel nurses badge for the Dreadnought School of Nursing. based at Greenwich. It features the original vessel used as a hospital for the Seamans Hospital Society, a hulk which was renamed HMS Dreadnought prior to its move onshore. The motto Fidelis, Veritas, Sacrificia- Faith, Truth , Sacrifices. The rear is engraved Dreadnought School of Nursing M.Wilson June 1951
