A rare Nurses Prize meal for St Stephen's Hospital,Chelsea.
Previously the Fulham Road Infirmary it had changed it's name to St Stephen's Hospital around 1925.The site is now occupied by the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.This prize medal dates to 1929 just prior to the Hospital being taken under the control of the London County Council.

A scarce 6 inch high figurine of a Victorian Nurse.She is attired in the uniform of the period,namely a Floor length Navy blue dress with white apron and cuffs,frilled cap with strings and red cross armband.She wears a nurses chatelaine at her belt,containing the nursing implements.No makers mark but there is a model number 1738 to the rear.
