A brass and enamel nurses badge from the Bristol Royal Hospital.The design is based around the hospitals coat of arms and features two unicorns with a central lamp and two flaming hearts.It has Bristol Royal Hospital Charity Universal on the blue band around the edge.General condition is very good with pin and clasp good and safety chain in situ .Marked to rear for 1962-65 R. A more recent RD&E base metal and enamel pin back nurses badge based upon an earlier design.It features a red Greek cross with Imperial crown to the centre.In each quarter of the cross on a silver background are the initials RD&H in black, for Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.In good overall condition with some minor surface scratches.Pin and clasp intact.Height 32mm  read more
