A bronze medal for the Infants Hospital Westminster which I believe dates to the 1920s.One side features a figure symbolising Motherhood with two infants at her feet.The reverse bears the Swaddled baby, taken from the original 15th Century plaques on the Foundling Hospital in Florence and which features in the later nursing badges issued by the hospital.Height 43mm read more
