Queen Alexandra's Imperial Nursing Service Reserve medal

An original Silver Tippet badge for the Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve.From it's foundation in 1908,(from what had been Princess Christian's Army Nursing Service Reserve)until 1949, this badge would have been worn on the Cape or Tippet.The medal was made of silver and consisted of a voided centre with the letter R for Reserve below an Imperial Crown.
In very good condition, with it's original silk ribbon.This is the smaller size version being 31mm high.unmarked to rear
