Sully Chest Hospital Glamorgan ,Nurses Badge
A rare chrome metal and enamel nurses badge for the Sully Chest Hospital. Opened in 1936 as a Sanatorium for Tuberculosis,it served briefly as a psychiatric Hospital in the 1990s until it finally closed in 2001.
The design is based upon the superb Art Deco buildings which have now been converted to luxury apartments.

A nice silver badge for what had originally been the Surrey County Asylum near Coulsdon. It was later renamed Netherne Hospital and was eventually closed in 1994.
