A small Chrome and enamel badge from Little Plumstead Learning Disabilities Hospital on the outskirts of Norwich.Opened as a Colony for Mental Defectives in 1930 it finally closed in the 1990s and much of the site is now derelict awaiting redevelopment.

A chrome and enamel nurses badge from Hill View Hospital Grantham.The hospital was based in the former Workhouse buildings at Dysert road and was also used as a Maternity Hospital prior to its closure in the 1970s.This badge ,I believe, dates to the 1950s.

An interesting silver nurses badge for St Marks Hospital, City Road London.It consists of an oval badge in silver ,engraved with the winged lion of St Mark on a plinth below which is a scroll with St Marks.An ornate rope border is applied to the edge.
