Royal Worcester Figurine,Nursing Sister University College Hospital

A Royal Worcester Figurine from a series of Four featuring Nursing Sisters of English Hospitals. These were modelled by Ruth Van Ruyckevelt in the late 1950s and early 1960s in a limited edition of 500 of each figure. This example is one of 500 of the Nursing Sister from University College Hospital in London.It stands at approximately 8 and a half inches tall with plinth and portrays a Sister in dark blue uniform with white apron,complete with Belt and buckle,Nurses League badge and pleated cap.She is holding a Clip Board with Observation chart(the recordings are even visible on the chart).Condition is very good with no chips, cracks or flaws.It is without it's original box or certificate.
These figurines are increasingly rare and sought after, and price reflects this
