Territorial Army Nursing Service Tippet Badge.
An original full size silver tippet badge; This pattern of badge was in use from 1920 onwards and consists of the intertwined A's of Queen Alexandra.The roll at the base carries the motto Fortitudo Mea Deus-God is my strength.The Badge retains it's original ribbon with only minor signs of wear.Although these were generally made of Silver this one is unmarked as such. Good condition overall.

It is accompanied by an Identity card for the Army in India made out to Sister Christina Mary Gallagher QAIMNSR along with her Irish birth certificate. read more
